Things to be done before getting the aid

One must have a hearing test before going for the hearing aid. When a hearing instrument is indicated it is necessary to have a hearing checkup to
determine the appropriate model and circuitry. One must check whether the instruments fit in your ear or not before buying. One must also check the battery back up before getting the aid. The Avada hearing aid's batteries last for a few days to few weeks. Battery life is determined by the physical size of the battery. The smaller the battery, the shorter the life is. Most hearing instruments get from one week to four weeks of battery life. Also the hidden hearing aid is referred to as the Completely-In-Canal. Modern advances in technology have allowed the specialist to fit these aids on moderate to severe hearing losses.

Varieties

Avada hearing aids provide you with many styles with the touch of the new technology. These aids are namely ITE, ITC, MC, CIC, BTE and PAC. ITE stands for In the Ear. These are the most comfortable, the least expensive and the easiest to operate. They are also the biggest of the custom made styles. ITC stands for In The Canal. They are generally expensive than ITEs. They require good dexterity to control the volume wheel and they are smaller than ITEs. MC stands for Mini Canals. They are of the size between ITC and CIC. A mini canal is a good choice when you desire the smallest possible hearing aid with a little volume wheel. CIC stands for Completely In the Canal. These are the littlest hearing aids produced. They require a removal string due to their small size and the fact that they fit deeply into ear canal. CICs can be difficult to remove without the pull string. CICs do not usually have manual controls attached to them because of the size. BTE stands for Behind The Ear. These hearing aids are the biggest hearing aids, often of low cost and they are very reliable. BTEs have the most circuit options and they typically offer more power than custom made units. BTEs rest on the back of the ear. They are connected to the ear canal via custom made plastic tubing the ear mold. The ear mold is generally custom made from an ear impression to replicate the size and shape of the ear.
